Keep screen time below two hours a day
Screen time includes time spent...
watching TV, or using a tablet, smart phone, computer or gaming device. Try to limit your child’s screen time where you can. Ideally, they should have no screen time at all until they’re two. After this age, they should spend no more than two hours a day in front of a screen.
If they’re in front of a screen, they’re sitting down or lying down when they could be playing, exploring or being active. If they spend less time in front of a screen, they are more likely to be active and a healthy weight. And they’ll sleep better too.
